To all potential or current customers considering transportation services,
I am an avid hiker and adventurer from Ohio. Most recently I chose to venture down to the Smoky Mountains again to climb both Mtn. LeConte and Chimney Top as I have a love for your area and the breathtaking beauty it has to offer.
Prior to the trip down, I had inquired of other transportation services, but ultimately made the decision based on the friendliness and affordability by the owner (Tim) of the Smoky Mountain Taxi Service. I tell you the truth, they stayed true to there commitment from beginning to end.
Picking me up at a local motel in Gatlinburg, I was introduced and given accomodations by Mr. Sam Stalcup. The ride was maticulously clean and Sam wasted no time in assisting me in loading up my gear, including my bike, which posed a dilema for me, in the sense that I would have had to lock it up, leave it behind, and come back for it after the hike. Sam offered to keep my bike with himself and meet me several days later at the end of my jouneys trailhead.
It all came off without a hitch! and Sam has become a great friend that I correspond with to date. What a great experience. This service offers more than just a ride. Accept no other.

He was very great help to me and my wife on Friday night august 22,2008 getting us to a parts store to pick up a battery for our van
And helping install it.
We reall appreciate his kindness and feel hes was sent there by god to help in our time of need.

We used Smoky Mtn Taxi to take our family on a trip thru the Smokie Mtn National Park and back
to Gatlinburg and was very pleased with the service and the drivers knowledge of the area.Van was

We spent Xmas and New Years in Gatlinburg. Smoky Mountain Taxi did a great job for us in Gatlinburg.
Both Tim and Herbert were great , very professional and courteous and very accomodating.
They picked us up from our mountain cabin and drove us to Knoxville for our morning flight. When we return,

Very friendly, very prompt, representative of company, stated that he would be about five to ten minutes and
was there before the time aloted. Will use this service any, and everytime that I am in the area. Service was pleasant, and talkative,a very pleasureable experience with an outstanding taxi service. Would recommend to anyone the needs this service!
